The main points
- Less scrolling, more learning. Children are on phones anyway. These tools give them something fun that also teaches.
- Fun comes first.Padhai Cricket, Quiz Adventure, Sudoku, Hangman and Tangram feel like games.
- Every board. The tools teach ideas that every syllabus shares.
- One place, not twenty websites. Times tables, the periodic table, Python, certificates and passport photos are all on one page.
- Made for India. Rupee notes, Hindi varnamala, Gurmukhi painti, Indian letter formats, NEP 2020 admission age and Navodaya practice.
- Big help for teachers. Worksheets, quizzes and certificates for the whole class in minutes.
- Private. Photos, names and marks never leave your device.
Why we made these tools
Think about a teacher getting ready for class. One website for a worksheet. Another one for a quiz. A third one for a certificate. Half of them ask you to sign up. Many are full of ads. Some talk about dollars and miles, which mean nothing to a child in Ludhiana or Lucknow.
We wanted to fix that small, daily problem. So we put more than a hundred useful tools in one place, built them around Indian classrooms, and made every one of them free. ClassHud comes from Smartway Media Pvt. Ltd., a Ludhiana company that has been building technology for schools for more than fifteen years.
This guide shows you every tool, one section at a time, and how teachers, students, parents and schools can use them.
Turn screen time into learning time
Most parents know this moment. The phone comes out "just for five minutes". An hour later, the child is still watching reels. Taking the phone away rarely works. Giving the child something better on the same screen often does.
That is the big idea behind these tools. A child playing a five-over match of Padhai Cricket is really revising maths. A child racing the clock in the Times Table Speed Quiz is getting faster at tables. A child exploring the planets or building an atom is learning science without feeling like it is homework.
Five easy ways for parents to make the switch
- Swap, don't just stop. When screen time starts, open a learning game instead of a video app.
- Start with the fun ones.Padhai Cricket, Quiz Adventure - Journey Across India, Sudoku, Hangman and Tangram are great first picks.
- Make it a habit. The Daily Brain Workout takes only eight minutes a day: eight games of 60 seconds each.
- Play together. Padhai Cricket has a two-player mode on one phone, so you can play against your child.
- Celebrate wins. Print a certificate from the Certificate Maker when your child beats a best score.

Who can use these tools?
- Students practise, check homework, revise for exams and actually see ideas like fractions, circuits and planets.
- Teachers make worksheets, quizzes and certificates in minutes and run fun activities on the smart board.
- Parents use them for practice at home and for small jobs like a passport-size photo or checking admission age.

Are these tools only for CBSE schools?
No. They work for every board: CBSE, ICSE and ISC, State Boards, IB and Cambridge. Fractions, the periodic table, grammar, maps and coding are the same in every syllabus. A few tools add extra help for India, like Indian letter formats and NEP 2020 admission age, and these are useful to everyone.
What makes these tools different?
The internet has many free tools. What is hard to find is one free place that brings them all together for Indian classrooms. Here is what makes ClassHud Learning Tools stand out:
- Built for India. Rupee notes and change, lakhs and crores, Indian states and capitals, Indian letter formats, Navodaya and Sainik school practice, and admission age as per NEP 2020.
- Three languages. Hindi varnamala, Gurmukhi painti, Hindi and Punjabi typing, numbers in three languages, thought of the day in three languages, and cricket commentary in Hindi and Punjabi.

Spotlight: Padhai Cricket
Padhai Cricket is one of the most loved tools. It turns a quiz into a T20 match, and every question is a ball.
- Answer fast to score big. A very quick right answer is a six. Slower right answers are a four, a two or a single. A wrong answer, or no answer, is a wicket.
- One DRS review per innings takes away two wrong options to give you a second chance.
- Subjects: Maths, Science, English, General Knowledge or a mix. Maths questions are made fresh every time, so they never repeat.
- Levels: Class 3 to 5, Class 6 to 8 and Class 9 to 12.
- Commentary in English, Hindi or Punjabi, on screen or read aloud.
- Classroom mode: full screen on the smart board. A five-over match takes about ten minutes.
Spotlight: the free Certificate Maker
If a school bookmarks only one tool, it should be the Certificate Maker. Schools give certificates all year: class tests, spelling bees, sports day, science fairs, Children's Day, annual day, house events and full attendance. Usually that means waiting for a designer or paying a printer. Here it takes a few minutes.
- Five types: Appreciation, Participation, Merit, Achievement and Excellence, or write your own.
- Ready wording for Sports Day, Science Exhibition, Full Attendance, Olympiad Rank and Teachers' Day. You can change every line.
- Five designs: classic, modern, elegant, kids and simple, in the colour you like.
- Your school's look: add the school name, logo and two signatures, like the class teacher and the principal.
- The whole class at once: paste one name per line and get a certificate for every student. You can even add a reason after a name, like "for winning the 100 m race".
- Print or download one or all, in A4 landscape.
- Free and private: no watermark, no payment, and your logo never leaves your device.
A certificate costs the school nothing here, but it means a lot to a child. Use it often.
How can students use them to prepare for exams?
- Plan: make a day-by-day plan with the Study Timetable Generator, with revision days built in.
- Focus: study in 25-minute blocks with the Focus Timer (Pomodoro).
- Revise: use the Maths Formula Sheet, the Interactive Periodic Table and the Physics Formula Calculator.
- Remember: make your own cards with the Flashcard Maker.
- Practise: try the Grammar Practice Quiz, Mental Ability Practice and Speed & Vedic Maths Tricks.
- Track: check your percentage and grade with the Marks & Grade Calculator.
- Stay eligible: the Attendance Percentage Calculator shows how many classes you need to stay above 75%, the attendance CBSE asks for to sit the board exams.

Parents also like the everyday tools: a passport-size photo for a school form, a scanned PDF of a paper, or the Admission Age Calculator to check which class a child can join.
How can schools use them?
- Admission desk: the Admission Age Calculator answers the most common question from new parents in seconds.
- Assembly: a new Thought of the Day every morning, for all 365 days.
- Sports day and house events: the House Points Scoreboard on a big screen.
- Certificates: for competitions, events and annual day, without a designer.
- School office: the Document Scanner to PDF, Image Compressor and QR Code Maker for daily paperwork.
- Parents: share the tools link in a school notice, so children practise at home with tools the school trusts.
Why are these tools free?
Because basic learning tools should not be locked behind a login or a payment page. A child practising tables, a teacher printing a worksheet at 10 pm, a parent who needs a passport photo for a school form: none of them should have to pay or sign up.
There is no catch. No trial that ends after seven days, no limit on how many times you use a tool, and no account to create. What you type or upload stays on your own device.
What is coming next?
The collection keeps growing, with new tools for subjects, teachers and schools added from time to time. The easiest way to keep up is to bookmark classhud.com/learning-tools and visit often.
Have an idea for a tool your class needs? Tell the ClassHud team on our helpline, 70096-90096. Your idea could be the next tool on the list.
ClassHud also helps you find the right institute
The learning tools live on ClassHud, an online directory for all kinds of institutes. Parents and students can search for schools, colleges and coaching centres near them and compare institutes side by side before they decide. So the same website that helps a child practise maths tonight can help the family choose the right institute tomorrow.
