Roopa International School

Roopa International School in Vijayapur, Karnataka, has a founding story that the school puts at the front of its home page: a brother built it in memory of his late sister, Smt. Roopadevi. The school calls itself Roopa International English Medium School, known as RIS, and it is affiliated to CBSE under Affiliation No. 831246. The founder is named as Mr. Bolegaon, though the page writes his initials in two different ways, H.S. and J.S., so please confirm the right spelling with the school.

The school’s About section describes about 500 students, more than 35 teachers and a teacher-student ratio of 1:6. It also says some teachers are expatriates from different locations and that the student body reflects the cultural diversity of Vijayapur. These numbers sit beside text that looks borrowed from another school’s website, so I would treat them as unconfirmed until the school verifies them.

The website is laid out for parents. It has pages for the Chairman’s Message, Mission, Vision and Motto, Activities, Photo Gallery, Staff Details, Syllabus and Fee Structure, plus a Mandatory Public Disclosure page, which for a CBSE school in Vijayapur is where the affiliation and safety documents usually sit. A YouTube video and an Instagram reel show the campus. The copyright line is from 2021, so some details may be out of date.

Parents can call +91 7795233559 or write to risbijapur@gmail.com. The website does not give a street address or PIN code in the text I could read, so please ask the school for its exact location, class range, admission dates, timings and fees before applying.
