Saraswati Vidya Mandir, located in Him Rashmi Parisar in Vikas Nagar, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, was established in 1988-89 by the Himachal Shiksha Samiti in a rented building in the village of Anji. In 1992, the Samiti purchased land for the construction of the school, and in 1993, the construction began.
