Pratap Public School, Karnal is a chain of futuristic, high-end institutions that are managed and run by the Rai Sahib Ch. Pratap Singh Charitable Trust Society, which was registered in June 1964. The Trust's first school was established in Jarnailly Colony, Karnal in 1975. Over time, the school has made remarkable progress and was affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education in 1985 for instruction up to Grade X. In 1989, it was upgraded to the Senior Secondary Level (10+2).

In 1991, the Trust purchased a five-acre plot of land from HUDA in Sector-6, Urban Estate, Karnal, and established a more spacious and multi-disciplinary complex that offered education from Nursery to Senior Secondary Level (10+2). In keeping with their commitment to providing quality education in rural areas, the Trust opened a school in Jundla in 2009. The response to the school was overwhelming, prompting the Trust to open another school on the outskirts of Panipat in April 2013. The school was affiliated with CBSE for instruction up to Grade X in 2018 and was upgraded to Senior Secondary Level in 2021.

The Pratap Public School is dedicated to providing high-quality education in a child-friendly atmosphere using innovative methods and activity-oriented curriculums. In addition to preparing students for Board Examinations, the school places significant emphasis on their holistic development through co-curricular activities. Computer science, sports, and life skills training are prominent features of the school's numerous activities. Within the campus, facilities for athletics, table tennis, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and cultural activities are available.

The school started with only 80 students in 1981, but today it has over 8000 students across various branches.
