Our Lady of Bon Secours Girls’ High School, Bengaluru  has consistently achieved remarkable results, witnessing improved performance from SSLC students each academic session. Recognizing our dedication to academic excellence, the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) selected our school on 21st February 1985 as a designated centre for the SSLC Examination with centre code 85. This responsibility entailed overseeing a massive 1050 candidates during the exam, and our school's authorities and teachers' meticulous arrangements and cooperation were highly appreciated by the Education department officials who visited the Examination centre.

Encouraged by this recognition, we continued to strive for excellence, seeking to increase our student population and achieve outstanding results in the SSLC Exam. By 2005, our school had grown to accommodate four sections in each standard of VIII, IX, and X, with a consolidated strength of 775 students. Over the following decade, this number had surpassed 850.

In 2005, the education department introduced a new Trimester Examination scheme for VIII and IX standards, dividing the academic year into three parts and conducting three examinations accordingly. However, this later evolved into a semester system, tailored to better suit the interests of both students and teachers.

In 2009, our school was honored with the responsibility of being the centre for the KSQA Examination for VIII standard students, a quality assessment examination. The evaluation of answer papers was competently handled by selected teachers from other schools, appointed by the Education Department.

As time passed, the first batch of our dedicated teachers began to retire from 1990 onwards, making way for a new generation of educators. The retiring senior teachers were honored by the Management, colleagues, and students for their enduring service in spreading knowledge. The vacancies created by their retirement were filled with new appointments, and both the retiring teachers and headmistresses were given grand farewells to acknowledge their contributions to the school's growth and development.

Our school deeply values celebrating various occasions to instill patriotism, nationalism, and gratitude among the students, who are the future citizens of India. Festivities such as School Feast, National Festivals, Teachers Day, Parents Day, and Children's Day are joyously observed, often graced by the presence of eminent personalities.

Beyond academics, the school management has actively worked towards providing education to underprivileged children in the vicinity, embodying the core principles of our congregation's humanitarian work with earnestness and devotion. This spirit is beautifully captured in our school's motto.
