The Naval Children School was established on October 24, 1978, in response to the educational requirements of the school-going children in the Naval Community residing at Sri Vijayanagar Colony, 104 Area, Visakhapatnam. Initially known as the Naval Kindergarten, it has been steadily expanding under the guidance of the Navy Education Society and the School Management Committee. In 2005, the school was renamed as the Navy Children School. Situated amidst a sprawling area adorned with lush green trees, the school offers a child-centered and co-educational environment, providing a much-needed pollution-free atmosphere in today's world. Presently, the school offers classes from KG to class X and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi (Affiliation No. 130159).
