Mahila Seva Samaja Senior Secondary School

About School
The Mahila Seva Samaja – CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) wing was established in 2006 and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (www.cbse.nic.in), operating under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institution was founded with a clear vision and commitment to several important principles. First and foremost, it aimed at providing education and training to women, promoting literacy, and empowering them towards self-reliance. Additionally, the institution demonstrated philanthropy by visiting hospitals and assisting those in need. It also focused on creating awareness about its work for women and children.
The school's focus on educating girls and women was pioneering, considering the limited availability of educational opportunities for women at that time. The school's classrooms are designed to be well-lit, spacious, and equipped with K-Class (K Yan equipments). A notable technology component of K-Class is the K-Yan, which stands for Knowledge Vehicle. Developed at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay, the K-Yan is a multifunctional device that combines a state-of-the-art projector with a PC, DVD writer, TV tuner, built-in speakers, a 500 GB HDD, 3G-Internet, and a wireless keyboard and mouse – all in a single box. This advanced technology enhances the teaching and learning experience, promoting a modern and interactive educational environment at Mahila Seva Samaja – CBSE wing.
