Delhi Public School
About School
Tucked inside Sathnur Village along Jala Hobli in North Bengaluru, Delhi Public School Bangalore North (DPSBN) carries a National Award from the Government of India's Ministry of Education - a recognition of its work in inclusive education that makes it genuinely stand apart from most school listings in this city. Managed by the K.K. Education and Charitable Trust (KKECT), which also runs DPS campuses in Bangalore South and East, DPSBN has been operating for over 25 years as a K-12 institution and is today one of the few schools in Karnataka to hold simultaneous accreditations from NABET, the British Council's International Dimension in Schools programme, and the worldwide PASCH network — a German cultural outreach initiative it joined in September 2021.
As a CBSE school in North Bengaluru, DPSBN has maintained a continuous 100% result record across both Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, with school averages consistently ranking among the highest in the country. Beyond CBSE, the school offers the Cambridge (IGCSE and AS Level), NIOS, and IB programmes - making it one of the very few multi-board institutions in North Bangalore under a single campus. Senior secondary students can choose from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. The school has also been a designated centre for CBSE board exams, NEET, JEE, UGC NET, and JNV examinations. Principal Manju Balasubramanyam leads the institution and was recognised when the then Union Education Minister specifically cited DPSBN's inclusive practices at the Annual Sahodaya Summit 2020.
The campus at Survey No. 35/1A, Bagalur Post, is set in a green, open environment away from the city's congestion, and includes two large playgrounds, a swimming pool, a mini golf course, a tennis court, and dedicated labs. Sports on offer range from cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and kabaddi to yoga, martial arts, and dance. Student clubs - including the Interact Club and Children's Movement for Civic Awareness - partner with organisations like the Spastic Society, Red Cross, Rotary Club, and National Association for the Blind. DNMUN, the school's own Model United Nations conference, is now in its twelfth edition and draws participants from across Bengaluru.
Admissions for the 2026–27 session are currently open across CBSE (Nursery to Class 9 and Class 11), Cambridge, NIOS, and IB programmes, with online registration available at dpsbangalorenorth.edu.in. For CBSE admissions, parents can call 08069270106, 08069270115, or 08069270100. For Cambridge enquiries, the number is 7618724448.
