Founded in 2010 by the St. Joseph Province of the Vincentian Congregation and affiliated to CBSE in 2020, De Paul Academy in Bhasalapur, Ron taluk, Gadag district stands as a deliberate effort to bring central board education to a part of rural Karnataka that had long been underserved. The school began in a rented building at Ron town limit before shifting to its own land and building at Bhasalapur on Hubli Road in 2015. Managed by the De Paul Academy Trust and inspired by the spirit of St. Vincent De Paul, the school currently enrolls 826 students and has grown into one of the more recognized CBSE schools in Ron taluk, drawing families from over 60 villages across the region - the farthest being 45 kilometres away.

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Affiliation No. 830976) and offers classes from 1 to 10 in English medium. With a teaching staff of 41, instruction across subjects is delivered using smart boards - each classroom is equipped with one, and individual desks are provided per student.
