Situated within the sprawling premier campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in Kandi Village, Sangareddy district, D.A.V. School IITH Campus is one of the very few schools in Telangana to operate from within an IIT campus. Established on 20th June 2018, the school was set up to serve the children of IIT faculty and employees, and has since grown into a CBSE school in Kandi that offers continuous schooling from Nursery through Class 12. Governed under the D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi, and holding CBSE affiliation number 3630382, the school combines the academic rigour of the DAV system with the unique intellectual environment of an IIT campus.

The school follows the CBSE curriculum and emphasises what it describes as the development of the 4Cs - essential skills it considers prerequisites for 21st-century learners - alongside preparation for board examinations.
