D.A.V. Centenary Public School, Bhiwani, holds a significant position within the vast D.A.V. organization, which embarked on its humble journey in 1986 with a rented building. Today, our institution is renowned for its academic excellence and its dedication to instilling respect for Vedic Philosophy and Indian traditions, culture, and thoughts in our students. Recognizing our achievements, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, upgraded our institution to Senior Secondary on October 17, 2014. From its modest beginnings with only 50 students and limited potential, the school has blossomed and now enlightens the entire area with an enrollment of 1000 students. Our establishment boasts high-quality infrastructure and various factors that contribute to its excellence.

As a co-educational institution, we are affiliated with CBSE New Delhi up to Class XII. While English serves as the medium of instruction, we equally emphasize Hindi, Sanskrit, and Punjabi. At the Senior Secondary level, we offer a wide range of subjects in streams such as Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, and Arts. Not only have we excelled academically, but we have also distinguished ourselves in co-curricular activities and sports, establishing our credibility among the masses.

During the 19th century, Swami Dayanand emerged as one of the greatest social reformers, spiritual leaders, and innovative thinkers. He arrived at a time when India was undergoing socio-political turmoil and recognized that illiteracy was responsible for the degradation of society. He believed that education of the masses was the solution to India's ailments. Swami Dayanand sought to reform Hinduism by blending the philosophy of ancient Vedic scriptures with modern ideas. In pursuit of Swami Dayanand's cherished goal, the 'Dayanand Anglo Vedic Trust and Management' society was established. Mahatma Hansraj, a fearless reformer, gave practical shape to the vision and philosophy of Maharishi Dayanand, leading an educational renaissance in India.

The first DAV School was founded in June 1885, based on an English-oriented, science-based education approach infused with Vedic values. DAV Institutions have made invaluable contributions by dispelling ignorance and illiteracy, while producing exceptional individuals of unparalleled merit, integrity, and caliber, including freedom fighters, social reformers, intellectuals, legal luminaries, doctors, and engineers.
