Bhavan-Bangalore Press School, Bengaluru is divided into two sections, catering to students from Nursery to Class X. It operates as an English medium, co-educational institution with affiliation to the CBSE Board. The formal inauguration of the school took place in June 2010, led by the late Padmashri Dr. Mathoor Krishnamurti. Initially, the school started with a small group of 15 students in its first academic year, which grew to 200 students in the second year. By the fourth academic year in 2014-15, the school's student body had reached a strength of 714.

The school is managed by the "Bhavan-Bangalore Press Educational Trust (Regd.)", a public Charitable Trust. The Bangalore Press has provided the land (approximately 26,000 sq.ft) for the school, and the building is being constructed with funds from individual donors, philanthropists, and corporate contributions. The architectural plan encompasses a basement and four floors.

The primary goal of the school is to create an environment where students can achieve self-fulfillment and become valuable members of society. They are encouraged to develop morally, intellectually, and socially by cultivating virtues such as honesty, dedication, hard work, and excellence in both academic and non-academic pursuits. The school emphasizes the importance of healthy habits, concern for others, and the assimilation of cultural and aesthetic values, which form the foundation of Bharatiya Shiksha.

The school envisions a partnership with parents and the community to ensure the success of every child. It is firmly believed that all children are capable of achievement, and the school is committed to nurturing essential life skills, building self-esteem, and shaping influential leaders in their respective areas of expertise. The aim is to empower each child to become a responsible, considerate, and contributing citizen. Furthermore, the school strives to create an inclusive environment that promotes each child's full academic potential.
