About Ramana Vidyalaya
Ramana Vidyalaya follows the CBSE curriculum and structures its academic programme across three deliberate developmental stages - KG to Grade 5, where learning happens through a wide variety of activities catering to all intelligence types; Grades 6 to 8, where students are given structured space to explore areas that interest them; and Grades 9 to 12, where the focus narrows to honing skills in the student’s identified areas of strength. This staged content framework runs alongside nine formally stated school values — Diversity, Equity, Excellence, Humility, Integrity, Joy, Lifelong Learning, Passion, Self-Confidence, Sustainability, and Wellness - values that the school applies to itself as an institution equally as it does to its students. A dedicated Fellowship Programme for teaching staff reflects the school’s institutional commitment to educator development alongside student development.
Student life at Ramana Vidyalaya is structured around self-directed engagement - Student Clubs, Student Leadership programmes, Student Publications, and Student-Led Initiatives give children at every level formal platforms to act on their interests and take ownership of their learning and community. A Wellness and Child Safety section within the school curriculum addresses emotional and physical wellbeing as formal academic concerns. The school also maintains a transparent commitment to inclusion: scholarships and financial aid are actively provided to ensure that a child’s socioeconomic background is never a barrier to receiving quality education at Ramana Vidyalaya.
Admissions to Ramana Vidyalaya for the 2026-27 session are currently open at both the Sholinganallur OMR campus and the new Mahindra World City branch.
