Pawar Public School Hinjawadi

Tucked inside the Megapolis township on the edge of Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park Phase III in Hinjawadi, Pawar Public School is a CBSE-affiliated co-educational institution established in 2012 — part of the seven-school network run by the Pawar Public Charitable Trust (PPCT), Pune. The Trust, which began its work in 2006 with a social commitment to the upliftment of nomadic tribal communities, has grown into one of Maharashtra’s prominent multi-city school groups, with campuses across Pune and Mumbai. The Hinjawadi branch serves the growing residential and professional community of this IT-hub locality, offering continuous schooling from Nursery through Class 12 under the CBSE curriculum.

The school follows the CBSE framework across all classes and maintains a structured academic programme that includes preparation for competitive examinations alongside the regular board curriculum. Principal Mrs. Deepa Shanbhag heads the Hinjawadi campus, and the school’s co-curricular calendar reflects consistent participation at competitive levels — in 2026 alone, students brought home wins at the State-Level Yoga Competition, the DSO Cricket Championship Under-14, the DSO Volleyball Interschool Competition, the Huzurpaga Interschool Competition, and the Cyber Champ Competition. Students also won the Student League State Championship in Mathematics, Science, and Geography under the Mastermind programme.

All classrooms at PPS Hinjawadi are digitally equipped with Smart Boards and laptops loaded with CBSE-aligned content, enabling teachers to run interactive sessions using quizzes, video clips, and presentations during class. The library functions as a structured resource centre with a comprehensive collection of books, with dedicated library periods built into the timetable. The campus also has a canteen serving hygienic vegetarian food, an 11-bed infirmary staffed by a full-time nurse, a counsellor’s room with three trained special needs teachers, and a GPS and CCTV-equipped bus fleet with female attendants for student safety.

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic year are currently open, with the admission circular published on the school website. The online admission form can be accessed at ppshinjewadi.ppctschools.com.
