About Parmeshwari Devi Dhanuka Saraswati Vidya Mandir
Parmeshwari Devi Dhanuka Saraswati Vidya Mandir was established in 1992 in Vrindavan by the Dhanuka family, in memory of Late Parmeshwari Devi Dhanuka. Her sons, Shri Shyam Sundar Dhanuka and Shri Madan Mohan Dhanuka, led the effort, inspired by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan. The school says that in the early 1990s almost no CBSE-affiliated schools existed in Vrindavan, so it brought modern education to the town and to nearby rural areas. It now has more than 1,700 students and over 8,800 alumni listed on its website.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum, and its website publishes board results, an academic calendar, a curriculum page and previous-year board papers. Admission runs through an entrance exam, with an online application form, a prospectus, model papers and the 2026-27 result notification all published. Vedic Math Science Fair is an annual event, and alumni testimonials on the site include officers in the IRS, IAS and IDES services and chartered accountants.
The campus has Science, Maths, Computer, English and Atal Tinkering labs, along with smart classes, a library, music and art and craft rooms, and games and sports. The website also lists purified water, an eco-friendly classroom and a secure environment. A school band (Ghosh) runs under cadet facilities, and 20 SGFI awards are listed. A hostel with over 148 hostellers has its own prospectus, rules and application process, and school transport is available.
Families can call 9760617614 or 9760617615, or write to pdd_svidyamandir@yahoo.com. A virtual tour of the campus is available on the website. The school is at Gaushala Nagar, Near Gaure Dauji Temple, Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. For a best school in Vrindavan shortlist, parents should check the entrance exam dates and eligibility criteria with the school first.
