KC Gurukul Public School

Situated at Paloura opposite the BSF Headquarters in Jammu, KC Gurukul Public School was established with a vision that has guided every decision since its founding: to prepare children for life through conducive environment, competent faculty, and exemplary leadership. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, the school offers continuous English-medium, co-educational schooling from Nursery through Class XII, making it one of the few CBSE institutions in the Paloura area of Jammu that takes students from pre-primary through the full Senior Secondary level under a single campus. The school is managed by Chairman Mr. Arvind Mahajan, Director Mr. Arush Choudhary, and Academic Director Mrs. Anu Jandial — a three-tier leadership structure that oversees academics, administration, and campus development at Paloura.

KC Gurukul Public School follows the CBSE curriculum and offers all four streams at the Class XI level - Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, and Humanities - giving families in Paloura and surrounding Jammu localities the rare advantage of complete stream choice at one campus without needing to change schools after Class X. The school’s mission emphasises the ability to make choices based on well-reasoned strategies - a principle that shapes how the school approaches both academic guidance and student decision-making across classes. Board results for Class X and Class XII are published on the official website at kcgurukulschool.in, and the school’s book list is also available for download for each academic session.

The campus at Paloura provides a comprehensive facility set for CBSE-aligned learning — including a well-stocked Library, fully equipped Science Laboratories, a Computer Lab with modern equipment, a dedicated sports ground with a structured Sports Calendar, and a Transport facility with published routes and charges available as a PDF on the website. Co-curricular activities at KC Gurukul are formally structured - covering Quiz, Recitation, Elocution, Debate, Short Story Writing, and Art & Craft - and are documented through dedicated gallery sections for Activities, Annual Day, and Festival Celebrations. Online fee payment through HDFC SmartHub is available directly on the school website, making fee management convenient for parents.
