Jain Heritage School

JAIN Heritage School, known as JHS, is a CBSE day boarding school in north Bangalore run by the JAIN Group, and it carries CBSE Affiliation No. 830424. Its website says it has an extended day care centre and a No Homework Policy, which sets it apart from many schools in the city. The mission is to create a stimulating, caring and rewarding school environment where every child is a valued member, encouraged and supported to reach their potential. Its 16th Annual Day was scheduled for December 2025, which suggests the school opened around 2009 or 2010.

The school’s calendar for 2026 is unusually full, and the announcements show it. There was an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Bootcamp for Grade 7, the Aikyam Startup Junior contest for Grade 8, an Aikyam Knowledge Fest science expo for Grades 9 and 10, and the 17th Mini Olympics for its youngest “Fundamentals” students. Over 800 students from Fundamentals to Grade 8 took part when the school hosted the ISKCON Heritage Fest in August 2026. Student Council elections were held by e-voting for the third year running, and students took part in several Model United Nations conferences.

Sport and the arts have their own programmes. The school has launched JAIN Heritage Sports School with 91 Sporting Co., which won the Excellence in Academic and Sports Integration award at ET Achievers Karnataka 2026. NCC cadets were runners-up at the Karnataka and Goa Pre-Subroto Cup football tournament, and Track and Field events for Grades 6 to 12 are held at HMT Ground, Jalahalli. Samskriti is a new initiative for Indian classical performing arts. The school also holds an FSSAI EatRight Campus certificate and has a published food menu.
