Don Bosco School

Don Bosco School Baijalbari was established in 2009 in the Khowai district of Tripura and is owned and run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, a Catholic religious congregation known for educating young people. It is a co-educational, English-medium minority Christian school recognised by the Department of Education of the Government of Tripura. The school follows the Preventive System, the method taught and practised by St. John Bosco, which aims to guide young people through care and reason rather than punishment.

Br. Alexius Condpan SDB is the Principal, and the website names Sr. Pushpa as Vice-Principal. As a CBSE school in Baijalbari, it is listed as affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education up to secondary level, under Affiliation No. 2030029 and School No. 35405. The affiliation period shown on the site runs from April 2019 to March 2024, so please ask the school for the latest renewal. The site publishes the curriculum, a list of prescribed books, an academic calendar, the class timetable and the exam schedule for parents.

Student life covers the usual school year and some notable events. The activities page records a Yoga Day observance at school, a prayer service for peace and harmony in Manipur, and a Police Week celebration in Khowai. The school has its own app, online fee payment, a Transfer Certificate page and a photo and video gallery. Its Infrastructure page lists the campus facilities, though I could not open it.

Parents can call +91 3825 295123 or write to the email on the contact page. The school is at Baijalbari, via Khowai, District Khowai, Tripura, PIN 799201. The admission process, fee structure, prospectus, school timings, uniform rules and rules and regulations all have their own pages on donboscoschoolbaijalbari.in, so families can read everything before visiting.
